The integer parameter ns defines at how many steps during wavenumber scans a result should be accepted and written into the output file. This allows for a finer scan in wavenumber than output. If nres is set to 1, every step of the total [[parameters:ns|ns]] steps is output. For details see the definition of [[parameters:scan_type|scan_type]].
