====== fit_ ======

The double precision parameters fit_ define the initial value of the fit parameters. Depending on the fit format defined by [[parameters:fit_type|fit_type]], these values describe different purposes.

fit_1 represents the density

fit_2 represents the thermal width

fit_3 represents the shift along the parallel direction

fit_4 represents the kappa index.

The format is different from the actual physical format of these quantities. More details will follow later.

fit_ has to be defined for each fit of each species. 

fit_ is part of the namelist &ffit_.
